surah Baqarah aya 176 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ نَزَّلَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ ۗ وَإِنَّ الَّذِينَ اخْتَلَفُوا فِي الْكِتَابِ لَفِي شِقَاقٍ بَعِيدٍ﴾
[ البقرة: 176]
2:176 That is [deserved by them] because Allah has sent down the Book in truth. And indeed, those who differ over the Book are in extreme dissension.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThat punishment is what they get for hiding knowledge and guidance, because Allah revealed the sacred scriptures in truth, which must be made clear and not hidden.
Also, those who disagree with the sacred scripture, believing some of it and hiding some of it, have taken a position that is far from the truth.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
That is because Allah has sent down the Book (the Quran) in truth. And verily, those who disputed as regards the Book are far away in opposition.

Thalika bianna Allaha nazzala alkitaba bialhaqqi wainna allatheena ikhtalafoo fee alkitabi lafee shiqaqin baAAeedin
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
(Their doom is) because Allah sent down the Book in truth but those who seek causes of dispute in the Book are in a schism Far (from the purpose).
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
That is because Allah has sent down the Book (the Qur'an) in truth. And verily, those who disputed as regards the Book are far away in opposition.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(2:176) This was inspite of the fact that Allah had sent down the Book with the Truth but the people who sought differences in the Book swerved far away from the Truth in their disputes.
