O Muhammad, exhalt your Lord declaring his glorification, the Lord of Honour, and exalt Him above the qualities of deficiency the idolaters describe Him with.

  2. Say, "O People of the Scripture, come to a word that is equitable between us
  3. It is He who shows you lightening, [causing] fear and aspiration, and generates the heavy
  4. And the shriek seized those who had wronged, and they became within their homes [corpses]
  5. We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends
  6. And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.
  7. That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known
  8. O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and that
  9. And those who accuse their wives [of adultery] and have no witnesses except themselves -
