surah Anam aya 2 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿هُوَ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِينٍ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰ أَجَلًا ۖ وَأَجَلٌ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُ ۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمْ تَمْتَرُونَ﴾
[ الأنعام: 2]
6:2 It is He who created you from clay and then decreed a term and a specified time [known] to Him; then [still] you are in dispute.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishHe, may He be glorified, is the One Who created you, O people, from clay when He created your father, Adam ( peace be upon him ) from it.
Then He, may He be glorified, fixed a period for your stay in the life of the world.
He also fixed another term, which only He knows, when He will raise you back to life on the Day of Rising.
Despite this, you still doubt about His ability to raise you back to life.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He it is Who has created you from clay, and then has decreed a stated term (for you to die). And there is with Him another determined term (for you to be resurrected), yet you doubt (in the Resurrection).

Huwa allathee khalaqakum min teenin thumma qada ajalan waajalun musamman AAindahu thumma antum tamtaroona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He it is created you from clay, and then decreed a stated term (for you). And there is in His presence another determined term; yet ye doubt within yourselves!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He it is Who has created you from clay, and then has decreed a stated term. And there is with Him another determined term, yet you doubt.

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(6:2) He it is Who has created you out of clay, *2 and then decreed a term (of life), and has also appointed another term, a term determined with Him. *3 Yet you are in doubt!

*2). The elements composing the human organism are all, without exception, derived from the earth. Hence it is said that man has been created out of clay.
*3). This alludes to the Hour of Judgement when human beings, regardless of the age in which they lived, will be broought back to life and summoned to render an account before their Lord.
