41:54 Unquestionably, they are in doubt about the meeting with their Lord. Unquestionably He is, of all things, encompassing.

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

Surely, these idolaters doubt the meeting of their Lord on the Day of Judgement as they deny resurrection and they dont believe in the afterlife.
Therefore, they do not prepare for it with righteous action.
Indeed, Allah’s knowledge and power encompasses everything.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

Verily! They are in doubt concerning the Meeting with their Lord? (i.e. Resurrection after their deaths, and their return to their Lord). Verily! He it is Who is surrounding all things!
