surah Assaaffat aya 28 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَأْتُونَنَا عَنِ الْيَمِينِ﴾
[ الصافات: 28]
37:28 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe followers will say to the leaders, “O our seniors! You use to approach us in matters of religion and truth, and would beautify for us disbelief, ascribing partners with Allah and sins, while scaring us away from the truth that the messengers brought from Allah.
”
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side [i.e. from the right side of one of us and beautify for us every evil, order us for polytheism, and stop us from the truth i.e. Islamic Monotheism and from every good deed]."
phonetic Transliteration
Qaloo innakum kuntum tatoonana AAani alyameeni
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They will say: "It was you who used to come to us from the right side."
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
37:28 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the translate in arabic

Those who yielded to external influence will recriminate those who led them by the nose into error, they will say: You had always approached us from the right-hand side which we presumed to be the way of moral rightness and spiritual salvation

(37:28) (The followers will say to their leaders): 'You used to come to us from the right hand.' *18
They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the meaning
*18) The word yamin in Arabic is used for several meanings. It may mean use of the force, or well-wishing, or swearing of an oath. Accordingly, the verse would mean: (1) "You compelled us into following error and deviation"; or (2) "you deceived us by posing as our well-wishers"; or (3) "you swore oaths to satisfy us that what you were presenting was the very trnth."
They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the meaning in Urdu
(پیروی کرنے والے اپنے پیشواؤں سے) کہیں گے، "تم ہمارے پاس سیدھے رخ سے آتے تھے"
