[Pharaoh] said to the eminent ones around him, "Indeed, this is a (26:34)

﴿قَالَ لِلْمَلَإِ حَوْلَهُ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَسَاحِرٌ عَلِيمٌ﴾
[ الشعراء: 34]

26:34 [Pharaoh] said to the eminent ones around him, "Indeed, this is a learned magician.

Pharaoh said to the leaders of his people around him: This man is a magician, well versed in magic.

[Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] said to the chiefs around him: "Verily! This is indeed a well-versed sorcerer.

phonetic Transliteration

Qala lilmalai hawlahu inna hatha lasahirun AAaleemun

(Pharaoh) said to the Chiefs around him: "This is indeed a sorcerer well-versed:

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

He said to the chiefs around him: "Verily, this is indeed a well-versed sorcerer."
