That is because you took the verses of Allah in ridicule, and (45:35)

﴿ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ اتَّخَذْتُمْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا ۚ فَالْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ﴾
[ الجاثية: 35]

45:35 That is because you took the verses of Allah in ridicule, and worldly life deluded you." So that Day they will not be removed from it, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].

That punishment you are being punished with is because you took the words of Allah as a joke which you would mock, and life with its pleasures and desires deceived you”.
So today these disbelievers who used to mock Allah’s words will not be taken out of the fire, but rather they will remain in it forever, and neither will they be returned to the worldly life to do good deeds nor will their Lord be pleased with them.

This, because you took the revelations of Allah (this Quran) in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be Yusta'tabun (i.e. they shall not return to the worldly life, so that they repent to Allah, and beg His Pardon for their sins).

Thalikum biannakumu ittakhathtum ayati Allahi huzuwan wagharratkumu alhayatu alddunya faalyawma la yukhrajoona minha wala hum yustaAAtaboona

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

"This, because ye used to take the Signs of Allah in jest, and the life of the world deceived you:" (From) that Day, therefore, they shall not be taken out thence, nor shall they be received into Grace.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

This, because you took the revelations of Allah in mockery, and the life of the world deceived you. So this Day, they shall not be taken out from there (Hell), nor shall they be returned to the worldly life.
