This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good (38:49)

﴿هَٰذَا ذِكْرٌ ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَآبٍ﴾
[ ص: 49]

38:49 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return

This is a reminder of these people through good praise in the Qur’ān.
And for the Mindful through carrying out the orders of Allah and refraining from His prohibitions is a good return in the abode of the Afterlife.

This is a Reminder, and verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) is a good final return (Paradise),

Hatha thikrun wainna lilmuttaqeena lahusna maabin

This is a Message (of admonition): and verily, for the righteous, is a beautiful Place of (Final) Return,-

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

This is a Reminder. And verily, for those who have Taqwa is a good final return.
