56:49 Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, the former and the later peoples
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishO Messenger! Say to these deniers of the resurrection: “Indeed, the earlier generations of people and the later ones from them.

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "(Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times.

Qul inna alawwaleena waalakhireena
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times,
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
Say: "(Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times."
