surah Kahf aya 59 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَتِلْكَ الْقُرَىٰ أَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ لَمَّا ظَلَمُوا وَجَعَلْنَا لِمَهْلِكِهِم مَّوْعِدًا﴾
[ الكهف: 59]
18:59 And those cities - We destroyed them when they wronged, and We made for their destruction an appointed time.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThose disbelieving towns close to you such as the towns of the people of Hud, Salih and Shuayb —I destroyed them when they wronged themselves by disbelief and sins, and I set for their destruction an appointed time.

And these towns (population, 'Ad, Thamud, etc.) We destroyed when they did wrong. And We appointed a fixed time for their destruction.

Such were the populations we destroyed when they committed iniquities; but we fixed an appointed time for their destruction.
