Verse 64 from surah Al-Qasas

﴿وَقِيلَ ادْعُوا شُرَكَاءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُمْ وَرَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ ۚ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَهْتَدُونَ﴾
[ القصص: 64]

English - Sahih International

28:64 And it will be said, "Invoke your 'partners' " and they will invoke them; but they will not respond to them, and they will see the punishment. If only they had followed guidance!

Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

It will be said to them: “Call upon your partners so they can save you from the disgrace you are in”.
They will then call their partners, but they will not respond to their call, and they will see the punishment prepared for them.
If they had been amongst those guided to the truth, they would not have fallen into the punishment.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And it will be said (to them): "Call upon your (so-called) partners (of Allah), and they will call upon them, but they will give no answer to them, and they will see the torment. (They will then wish) if only they had been guided!

Waqeela odAAoo shurakaakum fadaAAawhum falam yastajeeboo lahum waraawoo alAAathaba law annahum kanoo yahtadoona

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

It will be said (to them): "Call upon your 'partners' (for help)": they will call upon them, but they will not listen to them; and they will see the Penalty (before them); (how they will wish) 'if only they had been open to guidance!'

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

And it will be said: "Call upon your partners," and they will call upon them, but they will give no answer to them, and they will see the torment. If only they had been guided!
