surah Sad aya 69 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿مَا كَانَ لِيَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ بِالْمَلَإِ الْأَعْلَىٰ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ﴾
[ ص: 69]
38:69 I had no knowledge of the exalted assembly [of angels] when they were disputing [the creation of Adam].
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishI do not have knowledge of the discussion between the angels regarding the creation of Adam, if Allah had not revealed to me and taught me.

"I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam).

Ma kana liya min AAilmin bialmalai alaAAla ith yakhtasimoona
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
"No knowledge have I of the Chiefs on high, when they discuss (matters) among themselves.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
"I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing."
