surah Kahf aya 78 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ هَٰذَا فِرَاقُ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنِكَ ۚ سَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِتَأْوِيلِ مَا لَمْ تَسْتَطِع عَّلَيْهِ صَبْرًا﴾
[ الكهف: 78]
18:78 [Al-Khidh r] said, "This is parting between me and you. I will inform you of the interpretation of that about which you could not have patience.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishKhidr said to Moses: “This objection to my not taking a wage for erecting the wall is the point of separation between me and you.
I shall inform you of the explanation of what you saw me doing but which you were unable to bear.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
(Khidr) said: "This is the parting between me and you, I will tell you the interpretation of (those) things over which you were unable to hold patience.
phonetic Transliteration
Qala hatha firaqu baynee wabaynika saonabbioka bitaweeli ma lam tastatiAA AAalayhi sabran
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He answered: "This is the parting between me and thee: now will I tell thee the interpretation of (those things) over which thou wast unable to hold patience.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He said: "This is the parting between you and I, I will tell you the interpretation of (those) things over which you were not able to be patient."
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

قال هذا فراق بيني وبينك سأنبئك بتأويل ما لم تستطع عليه صبرا
