﴿فَلَمَّا أَلْقَوْا قَالَ مُوسَىٰ مَا جِئْتُم بِهِ السِّحْرُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ﴾
[ يونس: 81]

English - Sahih International

10:81 And when they had thrown, Moses said, "What you have brought is [only] magic. Indeed, Allah will expose its worthlessness. Indeed, Allah does not amend the work of corrupters.

Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

When they threw down their magical spells, Moses ( peace be upon him ) said to them: What you have shown is magic.
Allah will cause what you have done to be nothing and of no effect.
You cause corruption on earth by means of your magic and Allah does not set right the action of a person who causes corruption.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

Then when they had cast down, Musa (Moses) said: "What you have brought is sorcery, Allah will surely make it of no effect. Verily, Allah does not set right the work of Al-Mufsidun (the evil-doers, corrupts, etc.).

Falamma alqaw qala moosa ma jitum bihi alssihru inna Allaha sayubtiluhu inna Allaha la yuslihu AAamala almufsideena

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

When they had had their throw, Moses said: "What ye have brought is sorcery: Allah will surely make it of no effect: for Allah prospereth not the work of those who make mischief.
