surah Al Isra aya 83 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَإِذَا أَنْعَمْنَا عَلَى الْإِنسَانِ أَعْرَضَ وَنَأَىٰ بِجَانِبِهِ ۖ وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ كَانَ يَئُوسًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 83]
17:83 And when We bestow favor upon the disbeliever, he turns away and distances himself; and when evil touches him, he is ever despairing.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd when I grant man a blessing such as health and wealth, he turns away from thanking Allah and obeying Him, and moves further away out of pride.
But when illness, poverty or the like befalls him, he becomes extremely despondent and hopeless of Allah’s mercy.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And when We bestow Our Grace on man (the disbeliever), he turns away and becomes arrogant, far away from the Right Path. And when evil touches him he is in great despair.

Yet when We bestow Our favours on man, he turns away and becomes remote on his side (instead of coming to Us), and when evil seizes him he gives himself up to despair!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And when We bestow Our grace on man, he turns away and becomes arrogant. And when evil touches him, he is in great despair.
