Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in (23:84)

﴿قُل لِّمَنِ الْأَرْضُ وَمَن فِيهَا إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ المؤمنون: 84]

23:84 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?"

O Messenger, say to these disbelievers who deny the resurrection: “Who does this earth and those on it belong to, if you have any knowledge?”

Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein? If you know!"

phonetic Transliteration

Qul limani alardu waman feeha in kuntum taAAlamoona

Say: "To whom belong the earth and all beings therein? (say) if ye know!"

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

Say: "Whose is the earth and whosoever is therein If you know!"
