[ الأنبياء: 89]

21:89 And [mention] Zechariah, when he called to his Lord, "My Lord, do not leave me alone [with no heir], while you are the best of inheritors."

Abridged Explanation of the Quran

O Messenger! Also mention the story of Zechariah ( peace be upon him ), when he prayed to his Lord saying, “O my Lord! Do not leave me alone without any children.
You are the best of the living, so grant me a child that lives after me.
”

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And (remember) Zakariya (Zachariah), when he cried to his Lord: "O My Lord! Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors."

Wazakariyya ith nada rabbahu rabbi la tatharnee fardan waanta khayru alwaritheena
