15:90 Just as We had revealed [scriptures] to the separators
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishI warn you of a punishment similar to that which Allah sent down on those who formed an alliance to deny the messengers.

(Of just such wrath) as We sent down on those who divided (Scripture into arbitrary parts),-
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
As We have sent down on the Muqtasimin (conspiring confederates),
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
