surah Assaaffat aya 89 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ﴾
[ الصافات: 89]
37:89 And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishHe said, presenting an excuse from having to go with his people to their festival, “I am sick.

And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)."

Faqala innee saqeemun
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And he said: "Verily, I am sick."
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

And said, "Indeed, I am [about to be] ill." meaning
*49) This is one of those three things concerning which it is said that the Prophet Abraham had told three lies in his life, whereas it should be ascertained before declaring it a lie, or anything contrary to fact, whether the Prophet Abraham at that time was not suffering from any illness, and therefore, he had trade this excuse only as a pretence.
