﴿يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الشَّهْرِ الْحَرَامِ قِتَالٍ فِيهِ ۖ قُلْ قِتَالٌ فِيهِ كَبِيرٌ ۖ وَصَدٌّ عَن سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَكُفْرٌ بِهِ وَالْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ وَإِخْرَاجُ أَهْلِهِ مِنْهُ أَكْبَرُ عِندَ اللَّهِ ۚ وَالْفِتْنَةُ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الْقَتْلِ ۗ وَلَا يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىٰ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُوا ۚ وَمَن يَرْتَدِدْ مِنكُمْ عَن دِينِهِ فَيَمُتْ وَهُوَ كَافِرٌ فَأُولَٰئِكَ حَبِطَتْ أَعْمَالُهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَأُولَٰئِكَ أَصْحَابُ النَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَالِدُونَ﴾
[ البقرة: 217]

Ti chiedono del combattimento nel mese sacro. Di': “Combattere in questo tempo è un grande peccato, ma più grave è frapporre ostacoli sul sentiero di Allah e distogliere da Lui e dalla Santa Moschea. Ma, di fronte ad Allah, peggio ancora è scacciarne gli abitanti. L'oppressione è peggiore dell'omicidio. Ebbene, essi non smetteranno di combattervi fino a farvi allontanare dalla vostra religione, se lo potessero. E chi di voi rinnegherà la fede e morirà nella miscredenza, ecco chi avrà fallito in questa vita e nell'altra. Ecco i compagni del Fuoco: vi rimarranno in perpetuo”.

La gente ti chiede, o Profeta, riguardo la regola sul combattimento nei mesi sacri: Thy Al-Ǭadah ذي القعدة, Thy Ħijjah ذي الحجّة, Muħarram محرّم e Rajeb رجب.
Di`, in loro risposta: " La lotta in questi mesi è un fatto grave presso Allāh , grave quanto ciò che fanno i politeisti, che sbarrano la via di Allāh ed impediscono ai credenti di raggiungere la Moschea Sacraالمسجد الحرام, ed esiliano i suoi abitanti; e quest`ultimo fatto è più grave, presso Allāh, della lotta in questi mesi.
E la loro idolatria è più grave della lotta in questi mesi.
E gli idolatri, nella loro perdizione, continueranno a combattervi, o voi credenti, finché non rinnegherete la Retta Via per seguire la loro fede, nella perdizione, se riescono nel loro scopo.
E chi di voi abbandona la propria fede e muore rinnegando Allāh, tutte le sue opere saranno vane, e il suo destino, nell`Aldilà, sarà l`Inferno, dove resterà in eterno.

Portuguese Translation - Helmy Nasr

Perguntam-te pelo combate no mês sagrado. Dize: Combater nele é grande pecado. E pecado maior, perante Allah, é afastar os homens do caminho de Allah e renegá-LO, e afastá-los da Mesquita Sagrada e fazer sair dela seus habitantes. E a sedição pela idolatria é pecado maior que o morticínio. E eles não cessarão de combater-vos, até que vos façam apostatar de vossa religião, se eles o puderem. E quem de vós apóstata de sua religião e morre enquanto renegador da Fé, esses terão anuladas suas obras, na vida terrena e na Derradeira Vida. E esses são os companheiros do Fogo. Nele, serão eternos.

217. Te preguntan (oh, Muhammad!) acerca de combatir durante los (cuatro) meses sagrados. Diles: «Combatir en ellos es un pecado grave, pero es más grave para Al-lah impedir que los hombres sigan Su camino y no creer en Él, así como imposibilitar el acceso a la Mezquita Sagrada (de La Meca) y expulsar de ella a sus habitantes. Y la persecución de los creyentes es peor que matarlos. Y no cesarán de combatiros hasta lograr, si pueden, que reneguéis de vuestra religión (el islam). Y quienes renieguen de ella y mueran en tal estado de incredulidad verán invalidadas todas sus buenas acciones en esta vida y en la otra, y serán los habitantes del fuego donde permanecerán eternamente.

English - Sahih International

They ask you about the sacred month - about fighting therein. Say, "Fighting therein is great [sin], but averting [people] from the way of Allah and disbelief in Him and [preventing access to] al-Masjid al-Haram and the expulsion of its people therefrom are greater [evil] in the sight of Allah. And fitnah is greater than killing." And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able. And whoever of you reverts from his religion [to disbelief] and dies while he is a disbeliever - for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, they will abide therein eternally.
