surah TaHa aya 116 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ اسْجُدُوا لِآدَمَ فَسَجَدُوا إِلَّا إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ﴾
[ طه: 116]
20:116 And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate to Adam," and they prostrated, except Iblees; he refused.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnd remember, O Messenger, when I said to the angels: “Prostrate to Adam as a greeting”.
All of them prostrated besides Iblis, who was with them but not from them.
He refused to prostrate out of arrogance.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves to Adam." They prostrated (all) except Iblis (Satan), who refused.

Waith qulna lilmalaikati osjudoo liadama fasajadoo illa ibleesa aba
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
When We said to the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam", they prostrated themselves, but not Iblis: he refused.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
And (remember) when We said to the angels: "Prostrate yourselves to Adam." They prostrated themselves (all) except Iblis; he refused.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
