[ الطارق: 13]
86:13 Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement,
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThis Qur’ān that is revealed to Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) is a word that separates truth from falsehood, and fact from lie.

Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil).

Behold this is the Word that distinguishes (Good from Evil):
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
Verily, this is the Word that separates.
