surah Assaaffat aya 144 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ﴾
[ الصافات: 144]
37:144 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in Englishhe would have remained in the stomach of the whale until the Day of Judgement, with it having become his grave.
