﴿قَالَ إِنَّمَا أَنَا رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَامًا زَكِيًّا﴾
[ مريم: 19]
19:19 He said, "I am only the messenger of your Lord to give you [news of] a pure boy."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishGabriel ( peace be upon him ) said: “I am not a human.
I am only a Messenger from your Lord who He has sent to you for me to give you a good pure child”.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
(The angel) said: "I am only a Messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."
phonetic Transliteration
Qala innama ana rasoolu rabbiki liahaba laki ghulaman zakiyyan
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
(The angel) said: "I am only a messenger from your Lord, (to announce) to you the gift of a righteous son."
