﴿وَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ لَهُمْ نَصْرًا وَلَا أَنفُسَهُمْ يَنصُرُونَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 192]
7:192 And the false deities are unable to [give] them help, nor can they help themselves.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThese things that are worshipped instead of Allah cannot help those who worship them, and cannot even help themselves, so worshipping them is clearly foolish and ignorant.
