﴿خُذِ الْعَفْوَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْعُرْفِ وَأَعْرِضْ عَنِ الْجَاهِلِينَ﴾
[ الأعراف: 199]
7:199 Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAccept from people O Messenger what they are able to do, the actions and conduct that is easy for them, and do not require them to do things that are too difficult for them, because that will drive them away.
Instruct them to speak in a beautiful way and to do good actions, and turn away from those who are foolish and do not face them in their ignorance, returning like for like.
Whoever harms you, do not harm them; and whoever denies you something, do not deny them.

Hold to forgiveness; command what is right; But turn away from the ignorant.
