﴿وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ﴾
[ البروج: 2]
85:2 And [by] the promised Day
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishHe took an oath by the day of judgment in which He promised to gather all creation.

And by the Promised Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection);

Waalyawmi almawAAoodi

By the promised Day (of Judgment);
