Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He (55:29)

Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim

All created beings, the spiritual, the animate and the inanimate in the heavens and on earth address to Him a humble prayer for mercy and blessings individually or in litanies, pray to Him with supplication in difficulty and in difficulties, or pray to Him for deliverance from what is burdensome, or beg Him for relief, aid, and assistance in adversity and in time of danger, or ask of Him forgiveness for iniquities, or to exalt the pious and debase the despot and oppressor. Each and every day countless and different prayers and petitions, some being a repetition, and others being born anew, are addressed to Him for different requests each according to his or her circumstances and needs

(55:29) All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. *27

*27) That is, "He is continuously and endlessly fimctioning in this Universe and creating countless new things with new and yet new forms and designs and qualities, He is giving death to one and life to another, exalting one and debasing another, causing one to recover and another to remain ill, rescuing a drowning one and drowning a floating one. He is providing sustenance to countless creatures in a variety of ways, His world never stays In the same state: it is changing every moment and its Creator arranges it in a new state and fashion every time, which is different from every previous form and fashion and state, "
