We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in (41:31)

﴿نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَاؤُكُمْ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِي أَنفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ﴾
[ فصلت: 31]

41:31 We [angels] were your allies in worldly life and [are so] in the Hereafter. And you will have therein whatever your souls desire, and you will have therein whatever you request [or wish]

“We were your friends in the worldly life; we used to correct you and protect you, and we will also be your friends in the Hereafter, so our friendship with you is continuous.
In Paradise, you will be able to fulfil whatever your hearts desire and crave, and you will get whatever you seek.
”

"We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your inner-selves desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask for.

Nahnu awliyaokum fee alhayati alddunya wafee alakhirati walakum feeha ma tashtahee anfusukum walakum feeha ma taddaAAoona

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

"We are your protectors in this life and in the Hereafter: therein shall ye have all that your souls shall desire; therein shall ye have all that ye ask for!-

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

"We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your souls desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask."
