surah TaHa aya 36 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ قَدْ أُوتِيتَ سُؤْلَكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ﴾
[ طه: 36]
20:36 [Allah] said, "You have been granted your request, O Moses.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAllah said: I have granted your request, O Moses.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)!
phonetic Transliteration
Qala qad ooteeta sulaka ya moosa
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
(Allah) said: "Granted is thy prayer, O Moses!"
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
(Allah) said: "You are granted your request, O Musa!"
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
