Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds; (69:36)

﴿وَلَا طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِنْ غِسْلِينٍ﴾

69:36 Nor any food except from the discharge of wounds;

Neither will he have any food to eat except the fluid flowing from the bodies of the people of the hellfire.

Nor any food except filth from the washing of wounds,

phonetic Transliteration

Wala taAAamun illa min ghisleenin

"Nor hath he any food except the corruption from the washing of wounds,

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
