56:39 A company of the former peoples
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThey are a group from the nations of the previous Prophets.

A (goodly) number from those of old,
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
A multitude of those will be from the first generation.
