surah Yasin aya 41 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ﴾
[ يس: 41]
36:41 And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in a laden ship.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishAnother sign for them of Allah’s Oneness and of His favour to His servants is that I carried those who were saved from the flood from the progeny of Adam in the time of Noah in the ship that was filled with Allah’s creations.
Allah carried therein a pair of every species.

And an Ayah (sign) for them is that We bore their offspring in the laden ship [of Nuh (Noah)].

Waayatun lahum anna hamalna thurriyyatahum fee alfulki almashhooni
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
And a Sign for them is that We bore their race (through the Flood) in the loaded Ark;

And an Ayah for them is that We bore their offspring in the laden ship.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".

Another outward and visible sign reflecting for them an inward and spiritual grace is that We carried their descendants in the loaded ark

And a sign for them is that We carried their forefathers in meaning
*38) "A laden vessel" : the Ark of the Prophet Noah. As to boarding of the progeny of man in it, it means that although apparently a few companions of the Prophet Noah had boarded it, in reality all human beings who are to be born till Resurrection were boarding it; all the rest of mankind had been drowned in the Flood, all later human beings arc the children of those who were rescued in the Ark.
