surah Naziat aya 46 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوا إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَاهَا﴾
[ النازعات: 46]
79:46 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishIt is as if on the day they see the Hour for themselves, they will not have remained in their worldly lives except for a single evening or morning.

The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning.

Kaannahum yawma yarawnaha lam yalbathoo illa AAashiyyatan aw duhaha
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
The Day they see it, (It will be) as if they had tarried but a single evening, or (at most till) the following morn!
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
The Day they see it (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an (`Ashiyyah) afternoon or its (Duha) morning.
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
