﴿فَلَمَّا آسَفُونَا انتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ فَأَغْرَقْنَاهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ﴾
[ الزخرف: 55]
43:55 And when they angered Us, We took retribution from them and drowned them all.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThen, when they angered Me by continuing upon disbelief, I took retribution from them and drowned them all.

Falamma asafoona intaqamna minhum faaghraqnahum ajmaAAeena

When at length they provoked Us, We exacted retribution from them, and We drowned them all.
