So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, (21:64)

﴿فَرَجَعُوا إِلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكُمْ أَنتُمُ الظَّالِمُونَ﴾
[ الأنبياء: 64]

21:64 So they returned to [blaming] themselves and said [to each other], "Indeed, you are the wrongdoers."

So they turned to one another contemplating and considering.
It had become clear to them that their idols do not benefit nor harm in any way, and so they were wrong in worshipping them instead of Allah.

So they turned to themselves and said: "Verily, you are the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)."

FarajaAAoo ila anfusihim faqaloo innakum antumu alththalimoona

So they turned to themselves and said, "Surely ye are the ones in the wrong!"

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

So they turned to themselves and said: "Verily, you are the wrongdoers."
