83:7 No! Indeed, the record of the wicked is in sijjeen.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe matter is not as you thought - that there is no resurrection after death.
The book of the people of iniquity from amongst the disbelievers and hypocrites will be in loss in the lower earth.

Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjar (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjin.
