And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce (28:75)

Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim

And We will call to witness one from each nation (the Messenger) to give evidence in relation to the worldly matters and We will question the infidels- as to their proof of the validity of their gods whom they had incorporated with Allah! But they shall fail to advance any proof and they shall realize that Allah alone is and has always been the Truth personified. Here and now they are renounced and forsaken by those whom they presumed to share with Him His divine nature and supremacy; they have failed their expectations

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(28:75) And We shall bring forth from every nation a witness *92 and say, "Bring now your proof. ' *93 Then they will come to know that the Truth is with AIlah alone, and all falsehoods that they had forged will vanish.

And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce meaning

*92) A witness": the Prophet who had warned that community, or a rightly-guided person from among the followers of the Prophets, who had performed the duty of preaching the Truth in the community, or a means through which the message of the Truth had reached the community .
*93) That is, "Present a cogent argument in your defence so that you are pardoned. You should either prove that the shirk and the denial of the Hereafter and Prophethood in which you persisted were the correct creed and you had adopted it on rational grounds, or, if you cannot do that, you should at least prove that no arrangement had been made by God to warn you of this error and guide you to the right path."
 

And We will extract from every nation a witness and say, "Produce meaning in Urdu

اور ہم ہر امّت میں سے ایک گواہ نکال لائیں گے پھر کہیں گے کہ "لاؤ اب اپنی دلیل" اس وقت انہیں معلوم ہو جائے گا کہ حق اللہ کی طرف سے ہے، اور گم ہو جائیں گے ان کے وہ سارے جھوٹ جو انہوں نے گھڑ رکھے تھے
