surah Hijr aya 79 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿فَانتَقَمْنَا مِنْهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمَا لَبِإِمَامٍ مُّبِينٍ﴾
[ الحجر: 79]
15:79 So We took retribution from them, and indeed, both [cities] are on a clear highway.
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishWe took retribution from them when the punishment seized them.
The towns of the people of Lot and the dwellings of the people of Shuayb are on a path clear to those who pass by.

Faintaqamna minhum wainnahuma labiimamin mubeenin

So We exacted retribution from them. They were both on an open highway, plain to see.
