﴿قَالُوا تَاللَّهِ إِنَّكَ لَفِي ضَلَالِكَ الْقَدِيمِ﴾
[ يوسف: 95]
12:95 They said, "By Allah, indeed you are in your [same] old error."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishThe people with him swore by Allah that he was still lost in his previous imaginings concerning Joseph’s importance to him and the possibility of seeing him again.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
They said: "By Allah! Certainly, you are in your old error."

Qaloo taAllahi innaka lafee dalalika alqadeemi
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
They said: "By Allah! truly thou art in thine old wandering mind."
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
They said: "By Allah! Certainly, you are in your old Dalal (error)."

But those who were around him said to him: By Allah, you still live in your old perplexity and confused state of mind

(12:95) The people of the house answered, "By God, you are still suffering from your old illusion. " *67
They said, "By Allah, indeed you are in your [same] old error." meaning
*67) This remark shows that no member of his family except Prophct Joseph appreciated the true worth of Prophet Jacob. He himself was aware of the low state of their mental and moral condition. And it is one of the ironies of fate that the majority of the great personalities who made history got very little appreciation at home.
