Surah Al Isra ayat 10 Tafsir Quran 17:10

﴿وَأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالْآخِرَةِ أَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابًا أَلِيمًا﴾
[ الإسراء: 10]

17:10 And that those who do not believe in the Hereafter - We have prepared for them a painful punishment.

And it this Qur’ān informs that those who do not believe in the Hereafter We have prepared for them a painful chastisement namely the Fire.

As it announces an ominous destiny to those who deny the Day of Judgement that they must expect the torment laid upon the damned

Praising the Qur'an Allah praises His noble Book, the Qur'an, which He revealed to His Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.
It directs people to the best and clearest of ways. وَيُبَشِّرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( gives good news to those who believe, ) in it a الَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ الصَّـلِحَاتِ ( those who do righteous deeds, ) in accordance with it, telling them أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا كَبِيرًا ( that they will have a great reward, ) i.e., on the Day of Resurrection.
And He tells وأَنَّ الَّذِينَ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِالاٌّخِرَةِ ( those who do not believe in the Hereafter, ) that لَهُمْ عَذَاباً أَلِيماً ( for them is a painful torment, ) i.e.
on the Day of Resurrection.
As Allah says: فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ( ...
then announce to them a painful torment. ) 84:24

(17:10) and to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, it gives the warning that a painful torment has been made ready for them. *11

And that those who do not believe meaning

*11) This means to warn those persons or people or nations who do not take a lesson from the admonitions of the Qur'an to be ready to undergo that chastisement which Israelites had to suffer.

As Allah says: فَبَشِّرْهُمْ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ ( ...
then announce to them a painful torment. ) 84:24

( And that those who believe not in the Hereafter ) those who do not believe in resurrection after death, ( for them We have prepared a painful doom ) in the Hereafter.

And that those who believe not in the Hereafter (i.e. they disbelieve that they will be recompensed for what they did in this world, good or bad, etc.), for them We have prepared a painful torment (Hell).
