And this would not be a difficult act for Him to accomplish

Quran 14:20 Tafsir Ibn Kathir

Proof that Resurrection occurs after Death Allah affirms His ability to resurrect the bodies on the Day of Resurrection, stating that He has created the heavens and earth which are stronger than the creation of man.
Is not He Who is able to create the heavens, high, wide and strongly built, which include in them the planets and stars and the various heavenly objects and clear signs.
Is not He Who created this earth with all what it contains of land, valleys, mountains, deserts, green fields, barren lands, seas and various shapes, benefits, species and colors of trees, plants and animals أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْاْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ الَّذِى خَلَقَ السَّمَـوَتِ وَالاٌّرْضِ وَلَمْ يَعْىَ بِخَلْقِهِنَّ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَن يُحْىِ الْمَوْتَى بَلَى إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ( Do they not see that Allah, Who created the heavens and the earth, and was not wearied by their creation, is able to give life to the dead Yes, He surely, is able to do all things.
Yet behold he ( stands forth ) as an open opponent.
And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation He says: "Who will give life to these bones after they are rotten and have become dust" Say: "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!" He Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold you kindle therewith.
Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth, able to create the like of them Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator.
Verily, His command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, "Be!" - and it is! So glorified is He and exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things: and to Him you shall be returned.)36:77-83 Allah's statement, إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُـمْ وَيَأْتِ بِخَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ وَمَا ذَلِكَ عَلَى اللَّهِ بِعَزِيزٍ ( If He wills, He can remove you and bring (in your place ) a new creation! And for Allah that is not hard or difficult.) means, it is not hard or impossible for Allah to do that.
Rather, it is easy for Him, that if you defy His order, He takes you away and brings in your place another creation who is unlike you.
Allah said in other Ayat, It is you who stand in need of Allah.
But Allah is Rich, Worthy of all praise.
If He willed, He could destroy you and bring about a new creation.
And that is not hard for Allah. )
35:15-17, الْفُقَرَآءُ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْاْ يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْماً غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لاَ يَكُونُواْ ( And if you turn away, He will exchange you for some other people and they will not be your likes. Whoever from among you turns back from his religion, Allah will bring a people whom He will love and they will love Him. )5:54 and, إِن يَشَأْ يُذْهِبْكُمْ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ وَيَأْتِ بِـاخَرِينَ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلَى ذلِكَ قَدِيراً ( If He wills, He can take you away, O people, and bring others.
And Allah is Ever All-Potent over that. )
4:133

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(14:20) And that is not at all a difficult thing for Allah. *27

And that is not difficult for Allah. meaning

*27) This is by way of admonition that follows immediately the proof of the statement in the preceding verse.
This removes also any doubt that might arise concerning that decisive statement.
One might question it like this: " If the creation is really based on the survival of truth, why is it that every follower of falsehood and every wrong-doer is not destroyed forthwith? " This is the answer: " O foolish man! Do you think that it is difficult for Allah to destroy such a person? Or, do you think that Allah does not destroy him because he has some close relationship with Him? If this is not so, and you yourself know that it is not so, you should understand it well that any community that follows falsehood and commits wicked deeds is always in danger of being removed to make room for a better community to work in its stead.
If respite is given and the threat does not take a practical shape it dces not mean that there is no danger at all.
Instead of being neglectful, you should make use of every moment of this respite and realize that the false system which you arc following is not stable and durable.
You should, therefore, build it on stable and durable foundations. "

( And that is no great matter for Allah ) that is not very difficult for Allah; He says: it is not very difficult for Allah to destroy you and create different beings.

Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali

And for Allah that is not hard or difficult (i.e. very easy for Allah).
