Surah Qalam ayat 22 Tafsir Quran 68:22

﴿أَنِ اغْدُوا عَلَىٰ حَرْثِكُمْ إِن كُنتُمْ صَارِمِينَ﴾
[ القلم: 22]

68:22 [Saying], "Go early to your crop if you would cut the fruit."

saying ‘Go forth early to your tillage your produce ani’ghdū ‘alā harthikum constitutes an explication of the import of tanādaw ‘they called out to one another’; otherwise an relates to the verbal action to be understood as being bi-an if you are going to pluck’ if your intention is to pick the fruits the response to the conditional is indicated by what preceded it.

Let us go, said one of them, and do what you have planned to do if you are to serve your purpose

قَالُواْ سُبْحَـنَ رَبّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَـلِمِينَ- فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَـوَمُونَ- قَالُواْ يوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا طَـغِينَ- عَسَى رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْراً مّنْهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَى رَبّنَا رغِبُونَ- كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الاْخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ-

(68:22) 'Hurry to your orchard *14 if you would gather its fruit.'

قَالُواْ سُبْحَـنَ رَبّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَـلِمِينَ- فَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ يَتَلَـوَمُونَ- قَالُواْ يوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا طَـغِينَ- عَسَى رَبُّنَآ أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْراً مّنْهَآ إِنَّآ إِلَى رَبّنَا رغِبُونَ- كَذَلِكَ الْعَذَابُ وَلَعَذَابُ الاْخِرَةِ أَكْبَرُ لَوْ كَانُواْ يَعْلَمُونَ-

( Saying: Run unto your field if ye would pluck (the fruit )) before the needy ones come to know about it.

Saying: "Go to your tilth in the morning, if you would pluck the fruits."
