[ الإسراء: 39]
17:39 That is from what your Lord has revealed to you, [O Muhammad], of wisdom. And, [O mankind], do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity, lest you be thrown into Hell, blamed and banished.

Quran 17:39 Tafsir Al-Jalalayn
This is part of the wisdom the admonition which your Lord has revealed to you O Muhammad (s). And do not set up with God any other god or you will be cast into Hell blameworthy abandoned banished from God’s mercy.
Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim
These -the above mentioned attributes- are maxims expressing some of the manifestation of wisdom Allah, your Creator, has inspired to you. He has issued a mandate commanding that you people do not associate with Him another Ilah nor incorporate with Him other deities lest you should be thrown into Hell where you sit brooding on the vast abyss of reprimand and rejection
Quran 17:39 Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Everything previously mentioned is Revelation and Wisdom
Allah says: `What We have commanded you to do is part of good manners, and what We have forbidden you are evil qualities.
We have revealed this to you, O Muhammad, so that you may command the people likewise.'
وَلاَ تَجْعَلْ مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَـهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتُلْقَى فِى جَهَنَّمَ مَلُومًا
( And set not up with Allah any other god lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy ) meaning, your own self will blame you, as will Allah and His creation.
مَّدْحُورًا
( rejected ) means far removed from everything good.
Ibn `Abbas and Qatadah said: "( It means ) cast out." This is an address to the Ummah via the Messenger , for he is infallible.
Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi
(17:39) These are the things of wisdom which your Lord has revealed to you. And behold! do not associate any other deity with Allah lest you should be cast into Hell reproached and deprived of every good *45
That is from what your Lord has meaning
*45) Though this has been addressed to the Holy Prophet, the real addressee is every human being as in the case of many such verses.

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
( This ) which I have commanded you with ( is (part ) of that wisdom) in the Qur’an ( wherewith thy Lord hath inspired you ) commanded thee ( (O Muhammad ). And set not up) and pronounce not ( with Allah any other god, lest thou be cast into hell, reproved ) reproached by your soul, ( abandoned ) deprived of all that which is good.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
This is (part) of Al-Hikmah (wisdom, good manners and high character, etc.) which your Lord has inspired to you (O Muhammad SAW). And set not up with Allah any other ilah (god) lest you should be thrown into Hell, blameworthy and rejected, (from Allah's Mercy).
