Quran 33:71 Surah Ahzab ayat 71 Tafsir Ibn Katheer in English
﴿يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا﴾
[ الأحزاب: 71]
33:71 He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.

Quran 33:71 Tafsir Al-Jalalayn
He will rectify your deeds for you He will accept them and will forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys God and His Messenger has verily achieved a great success he has attained his ultimate goal.
Almuntakhab Fi Tafsir Alquran Alkarim
So that Allah steers you by His guidance to the right doings and actions and blesses your deeds and makes them agree with your words and forgives you your sins. And he who obeys Allah and His Messenger will have gained great victory and obtained supremacy
Quran 33:71 Tafsir Ibn Kathir
O you who believe! Have Taqwa of Allah and speak ( always ) the truth ( 70 )He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins.
And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great victory ( 71 )
The Command to the Believers to have Taqwa and speak the Truth
Here Allah commands His servants to have Taqwa of Him, worshipping Him as if they can see Him, and to
قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا
( speak (always ) the truth.) meaning, to speak in a straightforward manner, with no crookedness or distortion.
He promises them that if they do that, He will reward them by making their deeds righteous, i.e., enabling them to do righteous deeds, and He will forgive them their past sins.
With regard to whatever sins they may commit in the future, He will inspire them to repent from them.
Then He says:
وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا
( And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great victory. ) meaning, he will be saved from the fire of Hell and will enjoy everlasting delights ( in Paradise ).
Tafsir Maarif-ul-Quran Mufti Muhammad Shafi
O you who believe! Have Taqwa of Allah and speak ( always ) the truth ( 70 )He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins.
And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, he has indeed achieved a great victory ( 71 )
The Command to the Believers to have Taqwa and speak the Truth

Tanwîr al-Miqbâs min Tafsîr Ibn ‘Abbâs
( He will adjust your works ) He will accept your works which are carried out because of belief in Allah’s divine Oneness ( for you and will forgive you your sins ) due to your profession of Allah’s divine Oneness. ( Whosoever obeyeth Allah ) in that which He commands him ( and His messenger ) in that which he commands him, ( he verily hath gained a signal victory ) he gained Paradise and is clearly safe from the Fire.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger (SAW) he has indeed achieved a great achievement (i.e. he will be saved from the Hell-fire and made to enter Paradise).
