Verse 57 from Al-Anam in Arabic

﴿قُلْ إِنِّي عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِّن رَّبِّي وَكَذَّبْتُم بِهِ ۚ مَا عِندِي مَا تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ بِهِ ۚ إِنِ الْحُكْمُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ ۖ يَقُصُّ الْحَقَّ ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الْفَاصِلِينَ﴾
[ الأنعام: 57]

Qul innee AAala bayyinatin min rabbee wakaththabtum bihi ma AAindee ma tastaAAjiloona bihi ini alhukmu illa lillahi yaqussu alhaqqa wahuwa khayru alfasileen

qul innī 'alā bayyinatim mir rabbī wa każżabtum bih, mā 'indī mā tasta'jilụna bih, inil-ḥukmu illā lillāh, yaquṣṣul-ḥaqqa wa huwa khairul-fāṣilīn

English translation of the meaning

Say, "Indeed, I am on clear evidence from my Lord, and you have denied it. I do not have that for which you are impatient. The decision is only for Allah. He relates the truth, and He is the best of deciders."

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "I am on clear proof from my Lord (Islamic Monotheism), but you deny (the truth that has come to me from Allah). I have not gotten what you are asking for impatiently (the torment). The decision is only for Allah, He declares the truth, and He is the Best of judges."

Katakanlah (Muhammad), “Aku (berada) di atas keterangan yang nyata (Al-Qur'an) dari Tuhanku sedang kamu mendustakannya. Bukanlah kewenanganku (untuk menurunkan azab) yang kamu tuntut untuk disegerakan kedatangannya. Menetapkan (hukum itu) hanyalah hak Allah. Dia menerangkan kebenaran dan Dia pemberi keputusan yang terbaik.”

Tafseer Tafheem-ul-Quran by Syed Abu-al-A'la Maududi

(6:57) Say: 'I take stand upon a clear evidence from my Lord and it is that which you have given the lie to. That which you desire to be hastened is not within my power. *39 Judgement lies with Allah alone. He declares the Truth, and He is the best judge.'

Qul innee `alaa baiyinatim mir Rabbee wa kazzabtum bih; maa `indee maa tasta`jiloona bih; inil hukmu illaa lillaahi yaqussul haqqa wa Huwa khairul faasileen

*39). This alludes to God's punishment. The adversaries questioned why it was that they had openly rejected a Prophet sent by God, but had not been struck down by God's wrarth? They said that the fact of his appointment by God meant that anyone who either disbelieved or insulted him would, at once, be either plunged into the earth or struck by lightning. And yet, they pointed out, the Messenger of God and his followers faced new sufferings and humiliations whereas those who abused and persecuted him enjoyed prosperity.
