وَيْلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةٍ(1) Ve til enhvere backbiter bagvasker |
الَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالًا وَعَدَّدَهُ(2) Han hoards penge tæller det |
يَحْسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُ أَخْلَدَهُ(3) Idet dersom hans penge stille ham udødelige |
كَلَّا ۖ لَيُنبَذَنَّ فِي الْحُطَمَةِ(4) Aldrig; han kastes Devastator |
وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا الْحُطَمَةُ(5) Du kender hvad Devastator gøre være |
نَارُ اللَّهِ الْمُوقَدَةُ(6) Gud blussende Hellfire |
الَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى الْأَفْئِدَةِ(7) Det forbrænder dem indvendig ydre |
إِنَّهَا عَلَيْهِم مُّؤْصَدَةٌ(8) De confined therein |
فِي عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍ(9) Ind traktere kolonner |
