﴿
۞ وَسَارِعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَغۡفِرَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرۡضُهَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ أُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ * ٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ فِي ٱلسَّرَّآءِ وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ وَٱلۡكَٰظِمِينَ ٱلۡغَيۡظَ وَٱلۡعَافِينَ عَنِ ٱلنَّاسِۗ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ ﴾ [Āl-‘Imrān: 133-134]
(133) And hasten to forgiveness from your Lord and a garden as wide as the heavens and earth, prepared for the righteous (134) Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people - and Allah loves the doers of good;

﴿وَيُذۡهِبۡ غَيۡظَ قُلُوبِهِمۡۗ وَيَتُوبُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴾ [At-Taubah: 15]
(15) And remove the fury in the believers' hearts. And Allah turns in forgiveness to whom He wills; and Allah is Knowing and Wise.

﴿
فَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ * وَٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُواْ هُمۡ يَغۡفِرُونَ ﴾ [Ash-Shūra: 36-37]
(36) So whatever thing you have been given - it is but [for] enjoyment of the worldly life. But what is with Allah is better and more lasting for those who have believed and upon their Lord rely (37) And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive,

﴿
تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ * مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ * سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ * وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ * فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ ﴾ [Al-Masad: 1-5]
(1) May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he. (2) His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained. (3) He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame (4) And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood. (5) Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
