surah TaHa aya 18 , English translation of the meaning Ayah.
﴿قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَ أَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَيْهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِي وَلِيَ فِيهَا مَآرِبُ أُخْرَىٰ﴾
[ طه: 18]
20:18 He said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses."
Tafsir Ibn Katheer in EnglishMoses ( peace be upon him ) said: It is my stick: I lean on it when walking, I beat down tree leaves with it for my sheep, and it has many other uses besides those I mentioned.
Muhammad Taqiud-Din alHilali
He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses."

Qala hiya AAasaya atawakkao AAalayha waahushshu biha AAala ghanamee waliya feeha maaribu okhra
Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation
He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses."
Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri
He said: "This is my stick, whereon I lean, and wherewith I beat down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses."
We try our best to translate, keeping in mind the Italian saying: "Traduttore, traditore", which means: "Translation is a betrayal of the original text".
