Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear (47:25)

﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ ارْتَدُّوا عَلَىٰ أَدْبَارِهِم مِّن بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ الْهُدَى ۙ الشَّيْطَانُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمْ وَأَمْلَىٰ لَهُمْ﴾
[ محمد: 25]

47:25 Indeed, those who reverted back [to disbelief] after guidance had become clear to them - Satan enticed them and prolonged hope for them.

Those who turn back from their belief towards disbelief and hypocrisy, after the proof has been established for them and the truth of the Prophet ( peace be upon him ) has become clear to them, Satan is the one who has beautified for them disbelief and hypocrisy and has raised distant hopes in them.

Verily, those who have turned back (have apostated) as disbelievers after the guidance has been manifested to them, Shaitan (Satan) has beautified for them (their false hopes), and (Allah) prolonged their term (age).

Inna allatheena irtaddoo AAala adbarihim min baAAdi ma tabayyana lahumu alhuda alshshaytanu sawwala lahum waamla lahum

Abdullah Yusuf Ali - Translation

Those who turn back as apostates after Guidance was clearly shown to them,- the Evil One has instigated them and busied them up with false hopes.

Safi-ur-Rahman al-Mubarakpuri

Verily, those who have turned back as disbelievers after guidance had become clear to them -- Shaytan has enticed them and filled them with false hopes.
